メッセージ
ひとの環境・社会のなかで生涯成長を続ける、こころとからだの複雑系を、主観と客観による多様なアプローチで理解し、生涯の発達支援を導くことのできる人材育成行っています。その土台となる学問が、上記の行動および心理に焦点を当て検証されて来た両学問です。社会・現場にある課題に、大変なことにも背を向けず、向き合い、理解し、課題を解決する挑戦を続ける強さ、モチベーションの教育システムを開発研究し、ひとづくりをしています。現代科学がもたらした、あらゆる道具を使って、リスクも考慮しながら、多様な専門領域を跨ぎ、異なる分野のかたがたと連携します。どんな困難な課題にも、突き抜けたプロセスの計画立案、チームつくり、実施と分析ふりかえり、未来に繋ぐ解決を一歩ずつ進める人財を育てています。時空間を跨ぐ論理思考、巨視的な世界観、微視的な世界観、包括拡大、専門深化の両方向を、立体的に柔軟かつ自由に構築する力は、本当に困難ですが、たくさんの挑戦と失敗と仲間とふりかえりが、このスキルを一歩ずつ積み重ねてくれます。
教育方法に関して大切にしていること
自主・協働・創造・克服 この4つの機能を身に着けることは、全世代の心身発達によい効果をもたらす、と考えています。外と中がよくコミュニケーションし、相互に議論することは、着実な成功をもたらします。自然環境は、その複雑系で困難を克服する原点エネルギーが溢れるユリカゴです。
また、生きものなど複雑系どうしの相互作用は、分析すればするほど、複雑度が増すばかりですが、その挑戦に立ち向かうときに強力な、脳の支援をしてくれるコンピューター・ツールの力を借りて、応用するアプローチ、すなわち、“自然×IT”を教育理念に掲げています。
社会課題を解決するモチベーションを産み出し持ち続けるスキルとして、“利他性”、“創成”、“遊び”という三つの因子が重要、と考え、これらを土台とする教育理念としています。どんな失敗も厳しい結果との対峙にも、不死鳥のようによみがえる強さを、着実に支えてくれる、この三つの理念を、生涯の学びにつなぐことができたら、きっと、その人生はウェルビーイングへの答えを表示してくれるのではないか、と思います。
