メッセージ

私たちが提案する「こころ」「からだ」「文化」の視点からの学際的学修・研究アプローチは、人間理解に有益で深いまなざしを提供してくれるでしょう。「人間とは何か」を考究するヒントは、日々の私たちの身の回りの生活で起きているさまざまな事象・現象にこそあると考えています。人類が歩んできた生物進化の歴史から人間を理解することを試みるとき、私たちは自分自身や他者をより深く理解することができることに気付かれると思います。新しい視点で、私たちと一緒に学びましょう。

教育方法に関して大切にしていること

心身健康科学科のディプロマポリシーに記載されている「こころ、からだ、環境・文化の統合的・学際的な」視点を基に、担当するすべての科目内容について考え方の例を提示するようにこころがけています。一見すると関連を持ちそうにもない学修のテーマも見方を変えることで、新たなアイディアや解決のアプローチが見えてくることを体感していただくように心がけています。また最先端のテクノロジーや科学の動向、社会の進展を意識した話題にしながら、古くからの論点を考えてみることを心がけています。大学の目的である「人々の幸福と健康の実現」に向けた学修と研究に、学生のみなさんと一緒に取り組みたいと常に考えています。

学生さんからの評価に対して

多くの科目で学生のみなさんから「熱意をもって授業をしている」ことに高評価をいただいております。ただ熱くなりすぎて、少し早口になってしまい、学生のみなさんの思考整理のお時間確保を忘れてしまうこともありました。皆さんが質問や発言しやすい雰囲気づくりを心がけてまいります。
