What
Are Human Sciences?
| Humanity
is an extremely attractive field of study for all who love learning. Knowledge of humanity is also most important for humankind as a whole. This is why every domain of science has undertaken human inquiry. The natural sciences investigate the structure and workings of the body as a biological phenomenon and the treatment of disease and injury. The social sciences examine the economic and political behavior of human beings as social animals. The humanities study the cultures and thought systems created by human beings. |

| All
these fields have brought great happiness to humankind, but each reveals only one aspect of the human condition. Today people are beginning to say that an integrated approach to research is needed for a holistic knowledge of;humanity. Thus, human inquiry calls for distilling the accumulated wisdom of the natural and social sciences and the humanities. Human sciences, building on this understanding, marshal the findings of all three fields and adopt an ntegrated and interdisciplinary approach to the study of humanity. |
